Reaction Test

Privacy policy

Your results never leave your device

Last updated 23 July 2026

This policy explains what Reaction Test does and does not collect when you use reactiontest.xyz.

What we collect

Nothing you type or measure is sent to us. Reaction times, round averages and timestamps are written to storage inside your own browser so the records table survives a refresh. We cannot read that storage. Clearing your browser data or pressing Clear all erases it permanently.

We do not use accounts, advertising networks, cross-site trackers or behavioural profiling.

Server logs

Our web host records standard request logs — IP address, timestamp, requested file, browser user agent — for security and troubleshooting. These are kept for 30 days and are not linked to your test results. This processing rests on our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure.

Cookies

No advertising or analytics cookies are set. The only stored values are your theme choice and your saved records, both held in local browser storage rather than cookies sent to a server.

Sharing your score

Share buttons only open the chosen network with text you can edit before posting. Nothing is published on your behalf, and no share button loads third-party tracking code onto this site. Once you post, that network's own privacy policy applies. Score cards are drawn in your browser and saved to your device.

Third parties

Web fonts are requested from Google Fonts, which receives the IP address of the request in order to serve the file. To avoid this, self-host the font files or block third-party font loading in your browser. No other third-party service runs on this site.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data tied to you, there is generally nothing for us to export or delete on request. You control your own records through the export and clear buttons on the test page. If you believe we hold data about you, write to privacy@reactiontest.xyz and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EU you may also complain to your national data protection authority.

Children

The site is suitable for general audiences and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on the home page for 30 days.
